What It Is
A war-bow of named ash, the sinew string, the limb that is the line — the Vantari's war-voice, the one that carries the arrow where the line says. The bow is the decision, and the decision is the one the ground has to stand in.
The Making
Made by the Vantari bowyers, the line whose reputation is a list of trees — the ash, the year, the hand, all three named in the limb. The journeyman grade is the guild mark: the bow is made right, and the right is the one the war-line's name is worth.
