What It Is
A longbow of named yew, the sinew string, the limb that is the moment — the only bow that flies true at a gallop, because the Vantari are the only ones who shoot from one. The bow is the voice, and the voice is the one that decides the shape of the fight.
The Making
Made by the Vantari bowyers, the line whose reputation is a list of trees — the tree, the year, the hand that felled it, all three named in the limb. The masterwork grade is the one the list does not finish: the bow is the one the sky-keeper's line has been making since the list started.
