Creature Melt-Sense Ooze The low, wide, wet shape — heavy through the surface, with no head at all, only a slow, deliberate rise and fall, the amber gone dull at the edge of the melt-ring, the whole of it reading as one word that is waiting for a meal.

Creature Drip-Sense Slime The low, small, wet shape of the dripping cavern, the one that feels the meal a day before it lands. Its surface is a constant faint green, its leading edge a clean bone-white, and the drip is the only conversation it has ever trusted.
