What It Does
The ground, set with the wound — the venom decides who walks it, and the walking is the whole argument, and the one who walks is the one who was already the address. It is the poison school's and the venom school's crossing: the ground is bad and the wound goes where the hunter points it, and the hunter is the one who set the ground.
The Cost
Circle 4 · Venom · Exchange: reagent (venom-bladder, named) — casting time two rounds. On the ladder in The Veil, the reagent rung is the price.
The Failure
The venom-bladder is named wrong — the reagent is the forge's, not the one the spell wants — and the ground is set, and the ground is the one who delivers, and the one who is delivered to is the foot that was already the road.
In Stories
The master's venom spell; the one the camp casts when the ground is the argument and the address is the one who has to walk.
The door's scale anchor is Venomfury — the dragon casts it without thinking, which is how a reader learns the shape of the thing.
